As
a 501(c)3 non-profit community service organization, Neighborhood
Housing Services of Fort Worth and Tarrant County, Inc., (NHS)
provides mortgagage loans for eligible buyers and conducts its "Dream
Builder" Individual Development Account program for eligible
participants. To
accomplish this, we require information of a private nature concerning
employment, credit and banking relationships.
Counseling
concerning finances may be provided by NHS or one of its non-profit
partners. All counseling, whether provided by NHS, Consumer Credit
Counseling Service or Housing Opportunities of Fort Worth is
provided under a code of complete confidentiality.
We may
request your credit report from any or all major credit reporting
depositories with your permission, and we may contact creditors
with your permission. Any of your creditors may be requested
to discuss your accounts with NHS. This includes, but is not
limited to, balance information, payment history and potential
adjustments to contractual terms and conditions the creditor(s)
may be willing to make.
We
promise you that all information in your files will be held in
the strictest confidence in secured files, and will be shared
only with your permission with for-profit lender partners or
non-profit counseling partners.
