Neighborhood Housing Services helps build and revitalize communities. Through more than 29 years in community development we’ve built new homes, helped make aging homes sound and attractive, helped families refinance expensive loans for better money management and trained thousands of homebuyers.

We are a full-fledged NeighborWorks HomeOwnership Center as approved by NeighborWorks America, formerly known as Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation. The center provides one-stop shopping for homeownership resources: grants and low interest lending, homebuyer training and counseling, credit rehabilitation coaching and housing search assistance.

We've entered into a new partnership with Wachovia, sponsoring a three-part homeowner orientation. Classes include "Is Homeownership Right For You?," "Good Money Management for Homeownership," and "Goal Setting for Homeownership." You can attend one or all of the classes. There'll be FREE dinner and door prizes. Classes will be held at United Community Center's Wesley Center, 3600 N. Crump in Fort Worth. See the new prartnership link for more details.

A new facet of our assistance is FORECLOSURE prevention. We've joined in a nationwide effort to help families before they lose their homes.
